FUJIFILM is expanding its GFX System1 with the FUJINON GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR standard zoom lens. With a focal length of 45-100 mm (equivalent to 36-79 mm KB), it covers the most frequently used focal length range. With their combined zoom range and relatively high speed, these three zoom lenses are suitable for almost any photographic task and offer photographers who strive for the highest quality many creative possibilities.
The GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR is a versatile Lens with a sophisticated optical construction in a robust, weather-resistant Body. It is ideal for nature and landscape photography, but is also suitable for portrait photography. Among other things, it is equipped with powerful 5-axis image stabilization2 and fast, quiet autofocus. A Super ED element and other special lenses ensure high image quality with outstanding resolution and a beautiful bokeh effect.
Outstanding image quality and tonal reproduction
The optical construction of the GF45-100mmF4 R LM OIS WR comprises 16 elements in 12 groups. Three aspherical lenses, one Super ED and one ED element ensure effective correction of aberrations (distortion) as well as spherical and chromatic aberrations. The negative effects of optical sharpness and chromatic aberrations are minimized as far as possible, resulting in outstanding resolution performance.
Fast and precise autofocus
Thanks to the internal focusing, the weight and size of the focus unit have been reduced. The lens group is moved quickly and precisely by a linear motor, which is particularly quiet in operation.
Optical image stabilization
The Lens is equipped with optical image stabilization, which allows an exposure time that is up to 5 EV stops2 longer. This enables sharp freehand shots even with the high-resolution GFX cameras.
Compact and lightweight body
Weighing just 1,005 grams, with a length of 144.5 millimetres and a diameter of 93 millimetres, the GF45-100mmF4 is exceptionally handy and compact for a medium format lens with 2.2x zoom.
Splash and dust proof
Eleven seals protect the high-quality inner workings of the lens from splash water and dust. This means that the GF45-100mmF4 can also be used in adverse conditions and at temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius.
