  • Close-up lens
  • shortens close-up focusing distance and enables macro shots
  • multi-coated with +2 diopters
  • can be used with other effect filters

The close-up lens is an extremely practical tool as it shortens the original close-up limit of your Lens, allowing you to get closer to the subject and shoot it with greater magnification. With a close-up lens, you can immerse yourself in a new world of creativity and take detailed close-ups. Particularly suitable for taking pictures of plants, insects and small objects.

HOYA HMC CLOSE-UP II No.2 is a multi-coated close-up lens with +2 diopters for macro photography with digital or film cameras. The completely clear optical glass in a lightweight aluminum frame allows you to approach the object to approx. 25-50cm to take detailed, high-quality close-ups.

Advantages

  • You can get closer to the subject
  • very compact and does not take up much space in your bag
  • can be used with zoom lenses, turning your zoom lens into a macro zoom lens
  • no magnification factor, the shutter speed does not change
  • fewer flares and ghost images thanks to the multi-coated HOYA glass
  • Possibility to create other diopters by combining two close-up lenses. For example, No.1 + No.2 equals No.3.
  • can be used with other effect filters such as polarizing filters*
    * The combination of close-up lens filters with other filters can lead to vignetting
