  • Hoya Cirkular UX Pol II
  • prevents reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass and leaves
  • improves color saturation and contrast in the images
  • reliably prevents vignetting when used with wide-angle lenses

The new HOYA UX filters UX stands for "User Experience".
In order to make these filters as user-friendly as possible, the coating of the popular HOYA HMC filters has been significantly improved.
For the first time, the new UX filters feature a coating called "HMC WR" (High Multi Coated Water repellent). The already very high-quality coating of the HOYA HMC filters has been extended for the new UX series by two additional WR coating layers on both sides of the lens. This allows water to run off immediately on contact with the glass without leaving any traces.
In addition to this practical effect, the new coating also prevents streaks and fingerprints. This reduces the frequency of cleaning and therefore the risk of micro-scratches. Even stubborn dirt can be wiped off without much effort or is washed away by rainwater. This new 10x coating, which has been applied to both sides of the filter glass, also ensures reliable reflection suppression. The UX CIR-PL filter is aimed specifically at beginners who are looking for good CIR-PL filters at an affordable price. Like the UV filter, the CIR-PL filter can be used on both film and digital cameras. It prevents reflections on non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass and leaves. At the same time, it improves the color saturation and contrasts in the images. A polarizing film lies between the two glass surfaces of the HOYA UX CIR-PL filter. The front aluminum frame has been designed so that it can be rotated. In this way, the polarizing film can be positioned at the desired angle, intensifying or attenuating the effect as required. The thread milled into the upper mount enables additional filters or the lens cap to be fitted. The particularly flat aluminum frame of the UX CIR-PL filter reliably prevents vignetting when used on wide-angle lenses. Ambitious beginners can use the filter to greatly improve the quality of their images while taking them, without time-consuming and often unsatisfactory post-processing on the computer. This is because the optical effect of a CIR-PL filter can still not be replaced by the subsequent use of digital image editing software. This makes the filter an indispensable companion for every photographer.
