LEICA ULTRAVID HD-PLUS 42 The new generation of binoculars with improved optical performance

Leica Camera AG, Wetzlar, Germany, presents a further developed generation of Leica Ultravid HD 42 binoculars. Compared to their predecessors, the optical performance of the new Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 42 binoculars has once again been significantly improved in terms of light transmission.

This is due to new coating processes in which special substances are applied to the lenses in an ultra-high vacuum in a so-called high-temperature plasma process. In addition, special SCHOTT glasses with outstanding transmission (SCHOTT HT glasses) are used for the prisms of the binoculars in the new models. The significantly increased light transmission, especially in the blue-violet spectral range, ensures not only higher image brightness but also improved color transmission and significantly enhanced twilight vision.

In addition to the brighter image, the Leica Ultravid HD-Plus 42 binoculars therefore offer an increased contrast range in all observation situations - especially in difficult lighting conditions.

In addition, all the proven product features of the Leica Ultravid HD series remain unchanged in the new HD-Plus 42 binoculars - above all the high-quality optics, the reliable mechanics and the user-friendly design. The binoculars are equipped with extremely high-quality lenses that reduce stray light to a minimum. This guarantees outstanding colors and contrasts, high image brightness, clear vision and optimum detail sharpness. The innovative AquaDura® coating ensures crystal-clear vision in all weathers and protects the lenses from scratches and abrasion. The operation of the binoculars is tailored to the needs of the user and frequent use, even under extreme observation conditions. The non-slip, shock-absorbing armoring ensures non-slip handling and protects the binoculars from damage.
