In addition, the service life of the LED light unit is far longer than that of comparable light sources. The two function keys "IntelliScan" and "QuickScan" allow a fast and comfortable operation.
 
The OpticFilm 8200i SE
is the further development of the professional high-end film scanner OpticFilm 7600i SE. The improved hardware is optimally matched to the new SilverFast software included in the scope of delivery. With its high-end SilverFast SE Plus 8 software, the film scanner is aimed directly at photographers and professionals as well as ambitious photo amateurs. The OpticFilm 8200i SE comes up with extremely useful features. A special infrared channel iSRD® (Infrared Smart Removal of Defects) allows fully automatic detection of dust grains, scratches and other damage on the original. In combination with the professional image processing software SilverFast SE Plus 8, the removal of image defects is even easier and much more accurate thanks to the new Workflow Pilot®. The Pilot guides the user through the individual correction steps and provides helpful instructions when using the software. Thanks to the new preview mode, corrections and changes can already be made visible in the preview. Compared to purely software-based solutions, the iSRD® solution is characterized by an unrivaled high hit rate. Added to this is the unique Multi-Exposure® technology, which not only suppresses image noise but also greatly improves the dynamic range of the image. As a result, even the smallest image details come to the fore.
