  • 8mm fixed focal length
  • especially for APS-C and crop cameras
  • up to 180°
  • suitable for Canon APS-C cameras

Up to 180° of pure fun!
The only difference between the Samyang 8 mm F3.5 AS MC Fisheye CSII DH Lens and its predecessor is the removable lens hood.
The 8mm fixed focal length was specially developed for APS-C and crop cameras. However, without a lens hood, this Lens can also be used for full-frame cameras. The lens guarantees brilliant panoramas and is suitable for creating virtual 3D tours.
The lens construction consists of 10 elements in 7 groups. An aspherical hybrid lens in combination with the latest anti-reflective multi-coating (MC) technology ensures that lens flares are minimized and ghosting is eliminated.
A special feature of ultra-wide-angle lenses of this type is not only the short close-up focusing distance. Fischeye Lens are characterized by their enormous depth of field. As a result, everything behind the actual focus point is razor sharp.
Other examples of the use of an extremely short focal length include action photography. It is impossible to imagine skateboard photos without the fisheye effect. Action shots from very close to the action allow the viewer to immerse themselves in the situation.
